My dad has a penis

My mother has a vagina

My uncle has a penis

My aunty has a vagina

My brother has a penis

My sister has a vagina

My chacha has a penis

My chachi has a vagina

My tau has a penis

My tai has a vagina

My bua has a vagina

But phoopha has a penis

My mama has a penis

And mami a vagina

dada a penis

Dadi a vagina

nana penis

nani vagina

Or so i am told to assume

I do not know the truth of these

But parents, doctors or midwives, and other relatives must have looked at their genitals even before looking at their face.

and said “boy” or “girl” when really what they meant was “penis” or “vagina”

And when they can’t say for sure, then, or later, they do violence.

Exercise for cis-het people: Count the number of times the cis-het norms are making us essentially say penis and vagina in each day! And why is your need to say penis and vagina a reason for you to commit violence?
